Ron, I agree. I'll take this deal any day. It's a buffet with refills on your food! People aren't seeming to grasp this concept.

Well,  this ew deal has really sparked some activity on the boards . . WOW!!  FIRST THE COUPONS,  NOW THAT PROMO 2 for 20.00 .  I am goign to put my 2 cents in here. . . 2 for 20 is a great deal.  And better than  O charleys or Fridays. . .  THIS MY OPINON FOLKS. . .  take it easy on my. . .  the reason why is  . . .  YOU GET MOR OF A SELCTION THAN WITH THE OPTHER AND....  YOU CAN HAVE MORE THAN ONE SERVING!!  If you dont want 2nd helping or dessert . . .  then you may want to pick one of the other places . . .   but i am going to take GC because i get 2nds and thirdfs and desert . .  or deserts i should add. .    and if you buy drink  you get free refill on the drink. . .  when i eat breakfast. .   i dont have to buy i drink  . . because they let me eat juices  with the buffet. but the point is  ..  when you are doing these comparisons. .  they dont match because you are at a buffet on one. .  and a regular resturant on the other. .  No one complains about the the regular resturant not giving you free or discounted secounds or deserts . .  but people complain about this .59 cent discount on a all you can eat  buffet ???!!  IT ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!  regular resturants are not. .  unless there is a certian item they have as all you can eat. ..  ITS ALL YOU CAN EAT. .  .  i will take it!!!!

Does this price include a drink? If it doesn't then its actually the same price as before. But I love GC. You get your money's worth and you can have a variety. The food is always presented nicely as well.

Oh, I must have missed the email stating the rules. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I assume your comment is also addressed to everyone making any mention or slight reference to a previous poster's comment? Or perhaps I offended you personally? If the latter, please accept my apology, as it was not my intent. My purpose was to add positive feedback for GC. It was my understanding that GC is looking for our opinions. And as you mentioned, we are all entitled to our own. It is "my opinion" that their prices are fair, regardless of a $20 deal or not. I appreciate their coupons, and any discounts they offer their customers. I do admit the "pajama" reference was slightly underhanded, however, I was unaware of the aforementioned rules to this public forum, and any hurt feeling clause. Minus this petty digression, my message to GC is simply: I am a regular customer, and will continue eating at your establishment.

Stephanie Bachelder:  This board is for voicing an opinion as to the content,Not as to other posters.  Each and every person here is entitled to his or her own opinion regarding the recent advertisement. That's why GC sent it to everyone, so they could receive feedback.  Because people disagree with the concept of the 2 for $20 deal is no reason to suggest that people who think it is other than a winning promotion, should "eat in their pajamas, refill their own beverages, clean up their own mess, and not worry about leaving a tip."

I eat at GC all the time with my family. We have used coupons for our kids, and there are “buy one get one free” coupons, as well as 50% off. I have no issue with their prices, and find any complaints to be unfounded. What is there to criticize, exactly? You are paying for a BUFFET. If you go to Chili’s or Applebee’s, you are paying for ONE appetizer to share, ONE meal, and maybe ONE dessert to share. At GC it is unlimited,  with no need to share one plate because you can take as many as you want. Also, my neighborhood GC does offer a 10% discount for military. It is up to the individual owner, it is not a corporate restaurant. Not to mention their discount for senior citizens. As for “waiting” for their staff to refill my beverage, again I have never had an issue. I have always been greeted by a friendly employee and waited on by a prompt server. It seems as though people are wanting food for free. No matter what deals are out there, there will always be people wanting more. The GC we go to is always busy though, so there are obviously people, in addition to myself, who find it worth while. Perhaps staying in is more suited for the others. That way they can eat in their pajamas, refill their own beverages, clean up their own mess, and not worry about leaving a tip.

Go can anyone think that $20 is too much for 2 meals?  and as far as the sharing goes my husband takes bites off my plate and I his, never had any one say anything. People will find something to complain about no matter what you do. my opinion don't like the deal or the price stay home. I for one think it's great.

Right on, Wanda,  especially when they think the prices are reasonable.  Texas Steakhouse gives veterans 10% off everyday. and even though G.C. gives the M.A.M.once a year, they should give our disabled veterans 10% off as well.
