QuickBooks Error 15271 typically occurs during payroll updates. Here's how to fix it:

1. Disable User Account Control (UAC):

   • Open the Control Panel.
   • Select "User Accounts" and then "Change User Account Control settings."
   • Move the slider to "Never Notify" and click "OK."
   • Restart your computer.

2. Update QuickBooks:

   • Open QuickBooks.
   • Go to "Help" and select "Update QuickBooks Desktop."
   • Click on "Update Now" and then "Get Updates."
   • Restart QuickBooks and accept the update prompt.

3. Run QuickBooks as Administrator:

   • Right-click the QuickBooks icon.
   • Select "Run as Administrator."

4. Download Payroll Updates:

   • Go to "Employees" and select "Get Payroll Updates."
   • Check "Download Entire Update" and click "Update."

5. Verify and Rebuild Data:
